The following companies provide me with worthwhile business services. Because I am sometimes asked for recommendations on such services, I’ve provided that information below, along with the reasons why I’ve chosen to work with each company.

I host my web site at BlueHost.com Why?

• Their web hosting services are affordable for solo business owners like me.
• Once I sign up, they don’t try to force feed me a  bunch of services I don’t need (i.e. They don’t send me a zillion emails saying “buy this, and this, and this!“
• Their highly responsive staff are helpful, courteous and know their stuff.
• They do not charge for forwarding multiple URLs to one account, which saves me TONs of money.
• I really like that they provide the Postini service for screening spam, it’s $1 per month per email and it’s worth every, single penny.
• Their telephone support lines are open, when my business is open :-)
• They set up their email ports so that I don’t have to go through my ISP to use Bluehosts’ email servers.
• And my web site (to my knowledge) has never gone down in three years of hosting.
