A Few Notes About Andrea
Sharpen Your Marketing Edge with
Targeted Marketing Consulting & Copywriting
Communicating ideas persuasively and quickly has been Andrea Dale's mantra since she began writing and consulting for a living. A versatile, talented, and creative writer, Andrea creates marketing copy, songs, magazine articles, teaching tips, and tag lines. But more than anything, she is driven by her passion for helping businesses succeed.
Andrea's gut level understanding and grasp of business come from more than 15 years of professional experience and from her family. She's worked in marketing, technical writing, technology product testing, college textbook and e-book publishing, technical support, and sales. The daughter of a successful four-time technology business founder, she inherited her father's tenacity, entrepreneurial spirit and love of business.
The skills needed for writing effective marketing copy and song lyrics go hand in hand, both requiring concise creativity, and memorable word combinations that arrive easily on the tongue. In 2006, her advertising slogan "Get In. Get Fit. Get Going" was adopted by the YMCA Express, the first branch Y opened by the largest YMCA in the United States. An accomplished songwriter, Andrea's song, "Magic Carpet," was nominated for a Pegasus Award. In 2003 her second CD “Zen Cappuccino” was produced and released by Bedlam House Productions.
As a magazine writer, Andrea seeks out and writes articles about individuals whose personal interests and passions align and support their business goals. Recent articles include:
"Zen and The Art of Understanding Your Customer." An article explaining how architect Charles Ellis uses more than 25 years as a Japanese martial artist to listen to and translate his customer's needs into designing custom multi-million dollar homes.
When she's not busy writing or working with clients, Andrea is usually running, songwriting, contra dancing, hiking, and most of all playing with her two fabulous boys, Matt and Nick.
