LinkedIn For Business, Consulting & Training
“For me and my company, Andrea’s combination of marketing knowledge and social media was a winning ticket. Anybody could show us how to use social media, but Andrea showed us how to use it in OUR business. I don’t want to be a social media expert, I just want to make money with it and that’s what I got!” Thom Crimans, FranNet Consultant
As a LinkedIn Consultant, Trainer and Copywriter I provide the following services:

“One-Off” LinkedIn Consulting Conversations
“One off” consulting conversations are often needed when you have limited experience with LinkedIn. You need to gain a deeper understanding of this social network, in reference to your needs or your company’s needs.
To make the most of our pre-arranged discussion, as your LinkedIn consultant I recommend that you send me your questions and needs before we talk. We can also record our discussion, using GotoMeeting (at no cost to you). I will send you the audio file (Mp3) afterwards for future reference.
* Sometimes you need some research to ascertain if LinkedIn will meet your company’s needs or not. That is why I offer the Introductory LinkedIn Consulting Package.
Cost: $150.00 per hour. Contact me at adale@tothepointwriting.net or 513-561-2642 for more information.
Introductory LinkedIn Consulting Package
To The Point Marketing provides strategic and expert-level consulting helping companies determine if LinkedIn is the right venue for needs such as:
- Business to business, or business to consumer sales & marketing (i.e., Business development)
- Building company and brand recognition
- Researching and establishing potential procurement and vendor relationships
- Talent recruitment & hiring
- Executive, VP, Director and sales professional networking and sales
- Market or competitive research
Depending on the desired needs of your company, you may want to consider doing some research before jumping into LinkedIn. Why?
- LinkedIn attracts certain types of professionals who may or may not be a good fit for your company’s needs.
- LinkedIn’s mix of free and fee-based tools and services for relationship-based and online marketing may, or may not suit your needs and budget.
- Unlike Facebook Pages or traditional advertising, LinkedIn’s model is based upon person-to-person relationships, not Company (i.e., Facebook Page) to Customer Relationships. This paradigm may require a different sales or hiring approach than what you’ve used before.
- Your online presence (i.e. web site, blogs, etc.) or lack thereof can have a positive or negative impact on the results of your activities on LinkedIn. So, it’s recommended that you develop a strong online presence before engaging in significant LinkedIn activity.
As such, upfront research can make a huge difference in determining whether your company’s dollars, efforts and time would be well-spent using LinkedIn. This research can also help you:
- Set the foundation for a worthwhile LinkedIn Strategic and Tactical Plan.
- Discover if your employees are already using LinkedIn to benefit your company.
- Recognize if your needs are already better met elsewhere.
- Find out what your competitors are doing on LinkedIn.
- Ascertain what types of LinkedIn Training and Consulting would give you the most ROI.
- Provide relevant data and information to management to support your efforts on LinkedIn.
- Recognize how you can build on existing marketing, sales or hiring efforts with LinkedIn, giving you a better “bang for your buck.”
The Introductory LinkedIn Consulting Package includes:
Information Gathering Session. Based on a customized questionnaire and one hour Q & A, Andrea will collect the information needed. The questions will be based on how your company would like to use LinkedIn, such as:
- Hiring: What are the job titles, typical education and job experience of desired applicants?
- Hiring: What online and traditional tools have you used in the past to find desirable applicants before, and which “resume” keywords did you search for?
- Sales: Who are the key decision makers for your services and what types and sizes of companies buy your products or services?
- Sales: What services or products (that are not competitors) naturally complement yours or are sold to the same types of companies?
- How much and what type of experience does your company have with LinkedIn. For example, do you know if anyone in HR or Sales is using LinkedIn for their work?
LinkedIn Members, Companies & Services Research. To The Point will conduct online research to answer questions such as:
- Are there enough of the right types of professionals on LinkedIn to meet the companies’ goals? (For example, while there aren’t many physicians on LinkedIn, you will find hospital administrators on this network.)
- Are there enough of the right types and sizes of companies on LinkedIn to meet the companies’ goals?
- What fee based and non-fee tools and services on LinkedIn meet the company’s needs?
LinkedIn Recommendations Report. You will receive a complete written report based on the research, providing specific recommendations on whether LinkedIn is, or is not a good fit for your needs and why. This includes a one-hour phone meeting to review and clarify the report.
